Biology Assessment

biology assessment

Looking to Register for BIO 201 or BIO 205 at PVCC?
The Biology Assessment is for students that meet the prerequisites for BIO 201 or BIO 205, but have not taken BIO 156 or BIO 181, or their biology prerequisites are more than 5 years old. You will need to take the Biology Assessment in order to evaluate how well you remember this important information for these rigorous 200-level courses.

This test consists of 40 multiple choice questions and does not have a time limit. You must answer every question in the order that it appears. Once you’ve submitted your answer to a question, you cannot go back to it later to change your answer. The test is untimed so that you can give each question as much thought as you wish.

How do I take the test?

The test is available on a walk-in basis at the Union Hills campus. We strongly encourage students to arrive at our testing center with enough time to test.

When you come to test, make sure to bring a current, valid photo ID and your PVCC student ID number.

All exams will be collected 15 minutes before the testing center closes.

When do I get my scores?
You will receive your scores immediately after testing and they will be entered in your Student Center so that you can register for classes.
