Paradise Valley Community College offers many resources to help you choose a major and plan your career. From identifying your interests and skills (Career Counseling) to finding employment and internship opportunities (Career Services) to planning your classes and transferring (Academic Advisement), PVCC is here to help.
Not sure what you want to do? Career Counseling faculty members talk with students about careers and majors. You may take a career inventories assessment and discuss your results with a counselor. Counseling also offers classes to help you explore your interests, values and skills and define your goals.
Academic advisors can assist you in planning your education to prepare you for your career. They can make sure you’re taking the right courses in the right sequence, suggest additional classes that might be helpful and answer any other questions you have about the academic side of career planning.
