Justin Johnston

 Interim Assoc. Vice President of Information Technology

Justin Johnston has over twenty years of experience in Information Technology, Audio Video Services, and Project Management across public and private sectors. Currently serving as the Interim Associate Vice President of Information Technology: Chief Information Officer at Paradise Valley Community College (PVCC). He is responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of various IT departments, including Service/Help Desk, Desktop Support, Computer Labs, AV/Classroom Technology, Infrastructure, Systems Engineering, Web Development, and Strategic Planning. In this role, he is involved in mentoring staff, developing policies, managing operational and capital budgets, and evaluating/deploying new technologies. 

Previously, Justin was the Job Center Division Manager at Ford Audio-Video, where he led regional teams encompassing technology integration, programming, engineering, and project management, overseeing a significant project portfolio for major nationwide clients like Apple, Indeed, and J.P. Morgan Chase. This experience provided expertise in large-scale project execution, international business, and managing complex projects remotely.

Justin leads major construction and technology projects, designing technology systems and managing technical scopes. He acts as a solutions architect and leads the campus Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Project Management Team (PMT). Justin utilizes data-driven decision-making and has also worked at multiple campuses as well as been extensively involved in district-level committees, chairing groups such as the Customer Care Leadership Group (CCLG) to standardize technology and influence policies across ten colleges.
