Dr. Kimberley Patterson

Dr. Kimberley Patterson - Dean of Instruction

Dr. Kimberley Patterson joined Paradise Valley Community College as Dean of Instruction in June of 2025. She brings a strong background in academic leadership, faculty development, and student access.

Dr. Patterson most recently served as Interim Associate Dean of Sustainability and Residential Faculty in Biology at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. She holds a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from Arizona State University.

With over a decade of experience in higher education, Dr. Patterson has held several key leadership roles, including Division Chair of Biological Sciences and Co-Chair of the Program Review Committee. Her leadership has helped advance data-informed practices to support program growth and strategic planning. In her role as Dual Enrollment Faculty Coordinator, she strengthened curriculum alignment between high schools and the college, ensuring both institutional consistency and accreditation compliance.
