Dr. Brianna DeGeus is the Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships at Paradise Valley Community College. Dr. DeGeus provides overall leadership for the newly combined functions of corporate engagement, economic development along with fundraising and alumni relations. With the growth of business and industry development along the I-17 corridor in North West Phoenix, and PVCC’s commitment to further expanding the partnership with the City of Phoenix Work4orce initiative, Dr. DeGeus and team accelerate and increase the college’s impact in this sector.

Prior to joining PVCC, Dr. DeGeus served as the Maricopa Community Colleges Deputy District Director for Economic Development and Strategic Partnerships, the Vice President of Workforce Solutions at Maricopa Corporate College, and the National Director of Workforce Solutions at University of Phoenix. In these roles, she has established relationships with organizations like Amazon, Marriott, Microsoft, and State Farm. Additionally, she brings insight and experience working with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), the Arizona Commerce Authority and the Greater Phoenix Economic Council. Dr. DeGeus connects industry partners, economic development agencies, and the labor force with education and programming that shapes the workforce of the future. Dr. DeGeus holds a Doctorate in Education in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University, a Master of Science in Community Counseling from University of Phoenix, a Bachelor of Science in Business from Arizona State University, and is a proud PVCC transfer student. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, interior design, and all things home renovation.
