Program Details

Funded by the United States Department of Education (ED), the goals of the PVCC Child Care Access Means Parents in School Collaborative Program (PV CCAMPIS) are to:

a) provide financial assistance (subsidy) on a sliding fee scale to low-income Pell-eligible parent-students to place their children in pre-approved partnering regulated quality child care centers located in PVCC service area;

b) develop and provide parental education and resources to participating student-parents;

c) provide academic support, advising and other wrap-around services to participating students and their children;

d) provide professional development and credentialing support to partnering child care centers.
