Application & Selection

Applicants must have a completed FAFSA on file at the Financial Aid Office.

  • Eligible single or married parent-students must apply for childcare assistance at the beginning of each semester.
  • The selection of childcare center is the exclusive responsibility of parent-students. However, the chosen childcare center will be asked to confirm certain information and to sign an MOU with the PV CCAMPIS program.
  • Participating students are responsible for providing the PV CCAMPIS Program with correct student, family and childcare information, and for notifying this department of any related changes in a timely manner.
  • Applications must be submitted online at https://www.paradisevalley.edu/students/ccampis/pvccampis-application.
  • Applications may be submitted each semester. Unless otherwise noted, students will submit one (1) application each fall, spring and summer term. For Spring awards, the application portal will be opened from Sept 30 through Oct 30, for Summer award from Feb 30 through March 30 and for Fall award from May 30 through June 30.
  • Upon submission of application, applicants will receive an auto- reply confirming submittal status through their PVCC email account.
  • Completed applications will be processed and prioritized based on the needs of students, the Expected Financial Contribution (EFC) obtained from the students FAFSA, the number of children, number of credit hours enrolled, academic performance (GPA) and other factors to be determined by the Selection Panel.
  • Points will be assigned to each factor and all applicants will be ranked based on their scores. Those with the highest scores will receive the award until the fund is exhausted. 
  • To ensure continuity of childcare, priority will be given to renewal applications provided the students meet the requirements.
  • The Selection Panel will review the applications and make recommendations to the college president to approve.
  • It is the student’s responsibility to understand program content; to accurately complete, submit and update program information in a timely manner; and to receive and apply to the PV CCAMPIS Program in accordance with program guidelines.
  • Enrolled students not complying with program guidelines and application requirements may be disqualified from the program.
  • Applications and awards must occur during students’ active enrollment with the College.
