Puma Student Athletes

Are you interested in playing sports in college?

PVCC has an impressive student athletic program dedicated to empowering our athletes to achieve championship performance, while also preparing them for academic success and life after intercollegiate athletics. Your assigned advisor is available to help you create your class schedule once you have completed the admissions process.

Being a PVCC student-athlete is hard work; but learning to balance academics and athletics offers lessons of a lifetime.

Our History

PVCC created its athletic program in 1995 with three men’s sports (cross country, golf, and tennis) and two women's sports (cross country, tennis). Since that time, the college has added three sports for men (soccer, track & field and baseball) and four for women (golf, soccer, softball, and track & field), increasing our program to more than 200 athletes. Both the men and women's intercollegiate teams have found success in achieving national recognition in both academics and athletics.
