Non-Academic (Non-Instructional) Grievance Process

Concerns by students of unfair or unjust treatment by any PVCC employee with regard to student services or administrative services. To report a non-instructional grievance:

  • The student must first try to resolve the situation with the employee

  • If the grievance is not resolved at this level, the student can request to speak to the employee’s supervisor/manager. This request must be done in writing.

  • If the grievance is not resolved at this level, the student may request to speak with the division dean or VP (i.e. Student Affairs: Admissions, Advising, Athletics, Career Services, Disability Resources, Recruitment, Student Life and Leadership, Welcome Center, Veteran Services, Early College and Assessment/Testing etc. or Administrative Services: College Police, Human Resources, Facilities, Fiscal/Cashiering, etc. and includes contractors such as Follet Book Store and Sodexo (Puma Cafe)).
