Other Honors Scholarships

These scholarships are for students already part of the PVCC Honors Program.


Chancellor’s Scholarship

Deadline: February 21st, 2020
The Chancellor's Scholarship is offered to one student who demonstrates the very highest academic achievement and service to their college. The scholarship awards an amount up to 18 letter graded credits of in-county tuition and the registration fee for each semester, plus $250 each semester for books and supplies.
Chancellor’s Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

  • Be a current full-time Honors student enrolled at PVCC for Fall 2020
  • Maintain Honors Program status (meet program requirements such as MCCCD cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher, etc).
  • One scholarship is rewarded.
  • Must be a non-President’s Honors Scholarship recipient during Fall 2020.

Foundation Scholarship

Deadline: February 21st, 2020
The Foundation Scholarship rewards and encourages a highly motivated, academically gifted student and may be distributed in varying amounts. The scholarship may be presented to one individual or divided up and presented to multiple students.
Foundation Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a current full-time Honors student enrolled at the college for Fall 2020
  • Maintain Honors Program status (meet program requirements such as MCCCD cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher, etc).
  • Must be a non-President’s Honors Scholarship recipient during Fall 2019.

All Arizona Academic Team Scholarship

Deadline: October 4th, 2019
The All-Arizona Academic Team Scholarship recognizes two high achieving students who demonstrate academic excellence and intellectual rigor combined with leadership and service that extends their education beyond the classroom to benefit society.
Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

  • Be a current Honors student enrolled at PVCC
  • Maintain a cumulative 3.50 GPA or higher through the Spring 2020 semester to remain eligible
  • Must have completed 36 semester (or 48 quarter) college-level credits by December 31, 2019 and 48 semester (or 72 quarter) college-level credits by August 30, 2020
  • Submit a complete application
