The Maricopa Community College District in partnership with ASU provides the opportunity for students to complete a program of lower division coursework through MCCD that will meet the transfer criteria required for the first two years of the BSW degree program in Social Work at ASU.
Program Information
It is recommended for potential and current students of PVCC's Social Work Program to meet with Academic Advising for help in developing an academic plan to meet the social work degree requirements.
Volunteer service learning hours are available in cooperation with the college's Department of Service Learning. The volunteer experiences provide ample opportunities for students to explore the multitude of career options available in social work as well as serve as the basis for networking with professionals in the behavioral health field.
