Congratulations to PVCC’s Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program! The Arizona State Board of Nursing recently completed its regular onsite visit, earning PVCC another two-year approval. Nursing Program Director Nick DeFalco spearheaded the efforts in anticipation for the evaluation, thanking many PVCC team members for their support in preparing for the visit.

“A big thanks to Janace, Lynn, Tina, Gina and Carol for all the hard work prepping for the site visit. Also, thanks to our administration for their continued support of our nursing programs,” said DeFalco. “I am truly blessed to be part of an outstanding team!”

PVCC’s CNA program began 13 years ago. Every two years the CNA program must be evaluated on its ability to meet federal and state mandates. These requirements represent the ability of a CNA program to provide quality education resulting in safe healthcare providers for our communities.
