First Year Experience
As a new team member, the First Year Experience (FYE) starts day! Your supervisor will be an integral support as you begin your new position. The college online orientation will immerse you in all things Puma and is a great resource for the many questions you will have as a new employee. Next PUMA Pals, a collaborative, engaging program in which new employees are matched with an employee mentor to ensure that you are fully supported throughout the first year, discovering the relationships and resources necessary to be successful. - Canvas Basics and Advanced is a resource providing important Canvas information and how-tos, and also is a great resource for those already using Canvas.
- Preparing to Teach Online/Hybrid begins with an overview of online teaching and learning, and addresses many important topics for successfully teaching online.
- Employee Engagement offers an abundance of professional development opportunities to enhance your work life.
The Employee Learn Center (ELC) is also an excellence resource for technology and systems support. Make sure to log in and browse through the hundreds of documents to get you on your way.
