Cranium Cafe

The Puma Tutoring Center uses Cranium Cafe for online tutoring for PVCC students. Cranium Cafe is a virtual collaboration tool used to provide student support.

Student FAQ

Cranium Cafe is used for virtual tutoring sessions. This tool allows tutors to interact with students through video meetings, instant chat, screen sharing, and an interactive whiteboard space.

  1. To reach tutors online, log in to Cranium Cafe.
  2. Sign in with your MEID and password.
  3. Authorize access to your account.
  4. View the tutors, their subjects, and their schedules.
  5. Join a tutor by clicking on the Walk-In Tutoring box, or make an appointment with a writing tutor.

No, if the tutor shows as “Online”, you can click on “Drop-In Tutoring” and wait for the tutor to let you into the tutoring session. Click here for online tutoring.
