PVCC’s Psi Beta Chapter Earns National Recognition for Chapter Excellence

Paradise Valley Community College’s Psi Beta Chapter was recently selected for the 2020 Chapter Excellence Award. The chapter’s primary advisor Professor Adam Berry and his co-advisors volunteer countless hours mentoring students and it has been rewarded.

"It is a great honor to receive the Chapter of Excellence Award, but it is the students who deserve the credit,” Berry said. “They worked very hard throughout the year to put on events and volunteer their time. Their dedication to Psi Beta and Paradise Valley Community College was fantastic."

Psi Beta is the national honor society in psychology for community colleges nationwide and is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS). PVCC’s chapter organizes countless chapter activities benefiting the college, community, and also students who do not participate in Psi Beta. The Psi Beta mission is to professionally develop outstanding psychology students at two-year colleges through promotion and recognition of excellence in scholarship, leadership, research, and community service.

We congratulate all of you on this honorable award!
