Keeping You Safe During the Pandemic

Here at PVCC, our highest priority remains the health, safety and well-being of students, faculty, and staff. As Arizona continues its fight to flatten the curve of Coronavirus, we are doing our part here on campus to minimize the spread of the disease.

  • #MaskUpAZ
Facial coverings are required for all students, faculty and staff coming to campus. A small team of staff will be returning to campus to provide in-person registration related services, followed by additional staff to provide access to computing technology for students. It is mandatory everyone wears a mask.
  • Keep your distance
Physical distancing continues to be one of the best ways to reduce your risk of spreading or contracting the disease. Remain mindful when interacting with those around you to provide adequate space. Signage is posted around campus for traffic flow and reduced classroom sizes.
  • Monitor closings on campus
All cafes, common areas, water fountains will remain closed for the foreseeable future. Additionally, student services like the library, advising, computer labs, are currently closed. Continue monitoring your email and our social media for updates on reopening these areas on campus.
  • White glove treatment
Our buildings and campus facilities have increased cleaning and sanitation schedules to help prevent the spread. Our crew is now spraying with PROTEXUS, a disinfecting spray that delivers three times more surface coverage than traditional cleaning. The backpack sprayer has an electrostatic spraying system in which magnetically charged droplets coat 360-degree coverage around all surfaces.

Remember, we are all in this together; we need to remain mindful of one another and take care of one another.
