Chinese Calligraphy

Presentation about the history of Chinese calligraphy with a focus on the "the Co-evolution of Chinese Calligraphy, Dynasty and Democracy" using the Chinese concept of the state (based on the video & publication by Wu Chen & Dr. Chi Zhang), along with illustrating the pictographic nature of the Chinese written characters. The presentation will be followed by students’ interactive activities on practicing with brush, ink and paper to write the guided Chinese characters and any other favorite words of their choice.
