MVET Challenge - Annual Food and Hygiene Drive

MVET Challenge - Annual Food and Hygiene Drive

Staff, students, and the community are invited to bring non-perishable food and hygiene items to the Veterans Center to support the MVET Challenge. All MCCCD colleges compete to bring in the most items. PVCC, winner of the Jolly Roger flag for two years, was recently beaten by Phoenix College—and we want it back! Donations can be dropped off at the Veterans Lounge in K-108.

The MVET Challenge, hosted annually by the Maricopa Veterans Education Taskforce, pits all 10 colleges and the District Office against each other. The winning college earns the honor of flying the MVET Challenge Victor Flag until the next competition. The Jolly Roger, once flown by pirates and later by British and U.S. submarines to mark successful missions, remains a symbol of victory and pride.

Special thanks to PTK and Honors for helping with donation boxes, advertising, and supporting our efforts to bring the Jolly Roger flag back this year!
