Professor Stacy Smith, Esq.

Professor Smith joined PVCC in 2017 as Residential Faculty with the Business/IT Division teaching business law courses. She is a licensed attorney in both Washington State and in Arizona. She focuses her work on supporting businesses, providing training to for-profit and non-profit start-up ventures in a number of entrepreneurial and growth areas. She also provides individual business coaching where she works with clients to customize a plan of action to help them start and grow their business idea from concept to reality. While living in Seattle, Washington, Professor Smith worked with Microsoft, Corp., Amazon.com, the Washington State Supreme Court, and multiple non-profit organizations.

Professor Smith has served PVCC and the District in various capacities, including serving as a faculty representative for the Faculty Administration Collaboration Team (FACT), on Faculty Senate, as a United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Open Pedagogy Fellow, on a number of hiring committees, and on the Business Instructional Council.
