
Professor Sheila Beeler has been teaching in the English division at PVCC since 2013 and is the current English Division Chair. She is proud to be a first-generation college student who has earned her degrees from Northern Arizona University. Before coming to PVCC, she was the English Chair in a high school and taught English, ESL, and reading for 23 years.
She is a proud member of “ZTeam” and a co-advisor for Club Z which has earned 3 Student Life Innovation of the Year awards. Some of the team’s successes include earning a Learning Grant, Phase 1, and Phase II Innovation Pipeline Grants. ZTeam has presented nationally at the League for Innovation in the Community College as well as NACCE where Club Z is featured nationally. She is a small business owner and a member of the MCCCD “Legacy Group” with a focus on entrepreneurial mindset and innovation.
Sheila believes that we all have a gift and using it to help others is our responsibility. She believes a community college is a place for students to find their gift and develop it for positive social change. She is honored to be a small part of her student’s educational journey.
