Luanne Patterson has many years of work experience in Human Resources at MCCCD. An Army veteran, Luanne attended Glendale Community College on the G.I. Bill and worked as a student worker. She completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees while working at MCCCD. Luanne was hired full time at the District Employment department in 1986 and worked until retiring from Mesa Community College in 2011. She was called back to work part-time in the HR department at PVCC in 2012. After several months working part time for the new HR Director, Lori Lindseth, she decided to stay beyond her initial 6-month commitment. She realized working with the new Director was such a great experience, she just couldn’t leave! The HR Director is such a great leader she even wrote this bio for Luanne! In all seriousness, Luanne is a great asset to PVCC, and we would be lost without her knowledge, skills, and expertise. She is the unofficial Payroll guru at PVCC. I doubt there is anyone in the District with more knowledge about the myriad of complex HR and pay processes at MCCCD.
