Kayla Tapley currently works in the office of Student Life and Leadership as a Sr. Program Specialist. Kayla Tapley has been a member of the Maricopa Community Colleges for many years, and in many capacities at various campuses.
As a former student, she took most of her prerequisites at Mesa Community College. Starting out as a federal work-study student, Kayla slowly worked her way up by applying for higher positions with-in Student Life. In 2014,
Kayla began working as Mesa Community Colleges New Student Orientation Representative working part-time in the Student Life office at Red Mountain. In 2017 Kayla began working at GateWay Community Colleges’ clock hour locations; Central City, Deer Valley, and the SouthWest Skill Center. As the first Program Specialist for Student Life at the clock hour locations it was Kayla’s job to implement co-curricular programming for clock hour students.
