Jennifer Henderson, Math Residential Faculty, Chair of Technology Coordinating Team
Professor Henderson has been teaching mathematics for 21 years. She represents females in higher mathematics, being the only female instructor teaching the Calculus series as well as being the Calculus Course Coordinator. Professor Henderson is also the Chair of the Technology Coordinating Team, which is the strategic planning team for all technology for the entire PVCC campus. She has served on many committees, hiring committees, Higher Learning Commission Accreditation team, and began an outreach program between the Math Departments at the local high schools and the Math Division here at PVCC. Professor Henderson also has brought innovative teaching strategies to the Math Division, where she has helped implement teaching from an iPad/tablet, as well as the creation of quality OER materials. Professor Henderson is passionate about student learning, and quality teaching. Professor Henderson won the John & Suanne Roueche Excellence Award for PVCC in 2017-2018.
