Elsbeth Pollack has served as the Manager for Disability Resources and Services at PVCC since 2020. She also serves as adjunct faculty, teaching a AAA 115 college success course for STEM FOI students. Elsbeth's professional mission is to challenge and support students in their educational journey by encouraging interdependence, self-advocacy, and building skills to navigate resources and systems.
Elsbeth studied Religious Studies at Beloit College and has a Master’s in Higher and Postsecondary Education from ASU. She currently serves on the board of Arizona AHEAD, the local chapter of the Association on Higher Education and Disability. While at ASU, she was part of a team that was honored by the Committee for Campus Inclusion for her work on AccessZone, a university-wide curriculum created to inform, empower, and mobilize the ASU community to support those with disabilities in higher education and build a more inclusive and accessible educational environment through universal design thinking. She is excited to continue this work at PVCC and within Maricopa.
Outside of work, Elsbeth enjoys spending time with her husband, dog, and friends; trying out new recipes; taking care of her numerous plants; playing board games; getting out into nature; and watching competitive reality tv shows based on a creative skill.
