Brenda Sine is currently an adjunct Clinical Nurse Instructor with the Nursing Department. Brenda is also a full-time nurse at Hospice of the Valley and works as an Emergency Department RN. Her diverse background includes degrees in psychology, philosophy, and nursing from Arizona State University. Brenda is also a United States Air Force Veteran.

Brenda has been a member of the PVCC campus for many years, and in many capacities. As a former student she took most of my nursing prerequisites here. She has served as adjunct faculty and a skill instructor in the EMT program, and as an EMT State Evaluator. Brenda worked in the Learning Support Center as a tutor, serving students in philosophy, psychology, nursing, EMT, and biology. During her time in the LSC she developed an Anatomy Physiology pseudo practice lab for students. This practice lab helped prepare students for timed lab exams, lowering test anxiety and increasing scores.

Prior to her return to college, she served the US Air Force as an administrator and specialties project manager. This experience took her all over the world.  Brenda also owned two small businesses and worked as the Director of Education Services for the Suntanning Association for Education. Brenda worked in the beauty industry for many years as a Director of International Sales and Marketing for a local skin care company before pursuing my degree in Nursing.

On a personal note, she is a diehard Michigan fan, and enjoys a wide variety of activities including skiing, biking, and camping.

PVCC has been a large part of her life in many capacities for over 10 years. This year she welcomed the opportunity to continue serving our campus as the PVCC Campus Representative for the MCCD Adjunct Faculty Association (AFA).
