PVCC Puma Scholarship

SCHOLARSHIP RESERVED FOR HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES FROM:

Barry Goldwater, Cactus Shadows, Horizon, North Canyon, Paradise Valley, Pinnacle, Shadow Mountain, AZ Agribusiness, Boulder Creek, Chaparral, Deer Valley, Desert Mountain, Greenway, Mountain Ridge, Polaris, S. D.  O’Conner, Sunnyslope, Crestview College Prep, Sunrise Mountain, PV Online, and Thunderbird High Schools.

Other Public or Charter Schools may be eligible, contact the Recruitment office to verify. 

  • This scholarship is designed for students who are committed to attend: Paradise Valley Community College. 
  • Two-semester scholarship, RENEWABLE for an additional two semesters if a student maintains a cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.75 or higher at PVCC. If eligible, this scholarship will award up to a maximum of 48 credit hours. 
  • Recipients will be awarded $1,164.00 per semester, which covers full-time tuition of 12 credit hours. Students must enroll in at least 12 credits (or more) per semester. 
  • Students are responsible for funding beyond 12 credits. 
  • DEADLINE:
    • Fall term applications deadline is the last week of June
    • Spring term applications deadline is the first week of December

Agreement

All applicants must have filed and submitted the FAFSA application, enrolled and admitted to  PVCC, placement testing, academic advising, and selection of 12 credits hour classes by the deadline. Failure to complete any of these steps prior to the deadline may disqualify the  applicant. You must also check your “To Do List” in your PVCC Student Center to see if you have been  selected for FAFSA verification issues. All financial aid issues must be completed in order to determine  eligibility.
