Writing Center

The LSC has exceptional writing tutors available to all currently enrolled Maricopa students. Bring along a copy of your assignment, drafts of your paper, and research materials and discuss where you are in the writing process. A tutor can help you strategize the scope of your paper, share ideas, and help you learn how to proofread and edit as well.

• Drop-in sessions
  You can try to stop by, but we highly recommend scheduling an appointment because appointment times fill up quickly. Please stop by the front desk or call us.
• Booking multiple appointments
  You may book one academic reading coaching appointment at a time. You may book your next appointment at the front desk after you’ve had your appointment or with your coach at the end of your appointment.
• Canceling an appointment
  Please call the LSC front desk to cancel so we may reopen that appointment slot.
