Chancellor's Scholarship

The Chancellor's Scholarship is offered to one student who demonstrates the very highest academic achievement and service to their college. The scholarship awards an amount up to 18 letter graded credits of in-county tuition and the registration fee for each semester, plus $250 each semester for books and supplies.

To be eligible, a current full-time Honors student must enroll at the college on a full-time basis for Fall 2017, and maintain a MCCCD cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. One scholarship is awarded. Must be a non-President’s Honors Scholarship recipient during Fall 2017.

Foundation Scholarship

The Foundation Scholarship is presented to reward and encourage a highly motivated, academically gifted student. Amounts may vary. The Honors Program may choose to present one scholarship, or to divide the funds and present multiple scholarships.

To be eligible, a current full-time Honors student must enroll at the college on a full-time basis for Fall 2017, and maintain a MCCCD cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. Must be a non-President’s Honors Scholarship recipient during Fall 2017.

Overview and Eligibility:

The printed transcript(s) may be unofficial. Transcripts are used to verify your GPA. GPA is reviewed at the point of application. If your transcript shows remedial or developmental courses (e.g. Pre-Algebra or Basic Writing, usually characterized as being below 100 level coursework), those courses and grades may be removed to determine your cumulative GPA and total number of completed credits.
You must maintain a 3.50 GPA or higher through the Spring 2017 semester to remain eligible.
To be considered for the All-USA Scholarship, your transcript must show that you have completed 36 semester (or 48 quarter) college-level credits by December 31, 2016 and 48 semester (or 72 quarter) college-level credits by August 30, 2017.
