The Dean of Students provides services and resources to students, parents, faculty, and staff in support of student persistence, retention, completion, and overall student success. The Office of the Dean of Students strives to provide innovative programs and engaging opportunities that meet the needs of our students.
The Dean of Students is the judicial officer in charge of Student Code of Conduct concerns and educates the campus community about code of conduct policies and procedures. Through intervention and referral, the Dean facilitates the intellectual, social, and ethical development of students; fostering responsibility, accountability, and respect. Also, in the spirit of the PVCC Learning-Centered College Philosophy, we strive to provide learning opportunities for students who are found to have violated the Student Code of Conduct.
In addition to Student Code of conduct issues, the Dean helps students in the resolution of non-instructional complaints or concerns, providing information about, and referral to, campus resources.
Until the Dean of Students position is filled, please contact the Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs at (602) 787-7668 for confidential assistance or to learn more about resources available through the Dean of Students Office.
