PVCC Performing Arts is Ready for Spring 2020

Pumas, welcome back! We are excited to announce that the Division of Fine & Performing Arts will present over 25 events in the Spring 2020 semester for our campus and surrounding community. We invite you to take a look at what’s to come and mark your calendars. Invite your family, friends and co-workers to some of the following fun events: International Film Festival, Spring theater production (The Curious Savage), Student Music Ensemble Concerts, STEAMtalks (TEDx styled lectures), Spring Dance Collection, and the Festival of Tales.

Performing Arts Chair, Dr. Christopher Scinto says “Personally, I am most excited about the following three music events.”

  1. First is the Phoenix Synthesizer Festival, February 6-8, which features performances by two-time Grammy Nominated Electronic Musician Steve Roach, UNION32 + tsone, and local modular synthesizer enthusiasts.
  2. Second is the 2020 Spring Fine & Performing Arts Fundraiser, March 6-8, which will be a musical presentation of the Beatles' legendary album ABBEY ROAD with dynamics vocalists, a live rock band, and string orchestra.
  3. Third is the inaugural event produced by new student-run record label, UNION32 entertainment, which will be held off-campus on April 21st at CB Live at Desert Ridge Marketplace.
