Fall 2021 - Time for a Fresh Start

Welcome to Fall 2021 at PVCC!

At Paradise Valley Community College (PVCC) we are re-imagining your education to prioritize accessibility, flexibility, outcomes, and, ultimately, employment. The Fall 2021 semester at PVCC offers a variety of learning options, affordable tuition, and faculty and staff who care about your success.

If you’re ready to return to an in-person learning experience, we can accommodate you. Nearly half of our Fall classes will be Face-to-Face on the main and Black Mountain campuses. Check here to see if any of your classes are offered in person. Please note: PVCC has reinstituted the requirement that all individuals -- faculty, staff, students, and visitors to both of our PVCC campuses -- wear masks or facial coverings while indoors at any of our facilities, buildings, and classrooms. Masks or facial coverings will not be required outdoors. We will continue to implement safety protocols and 3-feet social distancing for all Face-to-Face classes in the Fall 2021 semester.

We will continue to closely monitor COVID-19 in our community and beyond, and be prepared to shift our plans as public health conditions require. Any changes will be communicated as soon as possible as the Fall semester approaches.

At the same time, at least half of PVCC’s classes will continue to be taught in Live Online, Online, or Hybrid/Virtual formats at both campuses. With Live Online, you will meet weekly with your instructor at your scheduled class time, allowing you to interact with your instructor and classmates. With Online classes, you have no set time in which you need to be in front of your computer. You’ll still participate - only instead of in-person lectures, it will be through weekly online assignments. For Hybrid/Virtual, part of the class will be held online without a set time to attend. The other part will occur at the time listed in the class schedule, either in a Face-to-Face format on campus or in a virtual format using a virtual platform.

With so many ways to learn, we think you’ll “Fall” in love with PVCC!

Four Enrollment Options

I love being a Puma! PVCC is remarkable and supports students by helping us grow so that we can flourish in the future.

Affordable. Transferable. Possible.

Choosing to pursue a college education is one of the biggest financial decisions you’ll ever make, which is why many students turn to PVCC.

If you want to continue your education after completing a two-year associate program, you can earn credits towards a bachelor’s degree and transfer to a four-year institution. Not only is this one of the least expensive routes to a four-year degree, but the flexibility accommodates learners with a wide range of needs and backgrounds. This includes students resuming studies after time away from college, part-time students who have full-time jobs or families, or even high school students.

Fall 2021 Learning On Campus

PVCC will offer several classes in a Face-to-Face learning format starting with the Fall 2021 semester. To provide a safe environment for everyone, appropriate protocols - such as face coverings and social distancing - will be in effect until further notice.
