Virtual Blood Drive

Virtual Blood Drive

This year, more than ever, is a time to give thanks for good health. Plasma from those who’ve recovered from COVID-19, known as convalescent plasma, contains antibodies that could be used to treat patients with an active, severe COVID-19 case and give them an extra boost to fight their illness.

Wondering if you have COVID-19 antibodies? Vitalant is testing all blood donations for antibodies to SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19, to help identify potential donors who could give convalescent plasma. Healthy donors may donate and will receive test results in their online account within two weeks.

To Join our Virtual Blood Drive campaign, please follow the 4 easy steps below:

  1. Sign up here to get your virtual blood drive invitation. You will be emailed to set an appointment for PVCC Virtual Blood Drive anytime between February 1st and March 1st: SIGN UP
  2. When your email arrives click “Schedule Now” to book your appointment at the most convenient blood drive location to you. Be sure to use the same email you used when you registered on the site.
  3. Prepare for your donation as you usually would by eating a good meal and drinking plenty of water.
  4. Provide you email address at the time of your donation. Thank you for transforming lives!
