Black History Month is a time to celebrate the history and achievements of African Americans and other people of African descent. It is also a time to correct some misunderstandings and misrepresentations of Africa and broaden our knowledge of the “richness” of the past and contemporary history of their ancestral continent – Africa. This quiz is aimed at achieving the latter objective.
Participants will have 25 minutes to answer the questions and then Emmanuel will spend the rest of the time reviewing and explaining the correct answers. If you can’t attend, the recording will be posted later for those who are interested.
