Do you have the entrepreneur spirit and a great business idea?
Sign up for our Student Innovation Challenge Competition! You must submit your online application by 5 p.m. Friday, January 29th!
To participate in The Innovation Challenge, submit your creative, innovative idea that solves a real problem.
Business ideas can be conceptual and in development, or from student entrepreneurs who are in the early stages of their startup. Ideas may have a social purpose but should be based on a revenue generating business model. Any creative ideas from any discipline are welcome.
Business Idea Description
You must describe your business or business idea in not more than 500 words. Your response should include information about what type of product or service you plan to develop and sell, what industry you will focus on, who your ideal customer would be, what problem you are solving for that customer, and how you will reach your customer (online, in-person, etc.). Please use as much detail as possible so application reviewers can easily understand what your business or idea is about.
How much time will it take?
How much time you decide to spend on developing your idea is up to you. Just remember that turning great ideas into a viable business strategy requires time, effort and energy. During preparation for the competition, you need to set deadlines for different aspects of the pitch and it is essential that you meet the deadlines. Our expectation is that you take this process seriously.
