The Paradise Valley Community College Women’s Soccer team (7-2-1) is halfway through their 2018 season and currently ranked #20 in the NJCAA National Poll. The Pumas currently sit in third place in the ACCAC behind first place Arizona Western (10-0) and second place Phoenix College (8-1-1), the only two teams that have beat the Pumas. Both loses came in close 2-1 games.
Former Puma Josh Bristyan was named the 2017-2018 ACCAC/Region I Male Student-Athlete of the Year after his specular sophomore season at Paradise Valley. The criteria for the selection is based on academic achievement, athletic ability/achievement, community service and leadership.
The NJCAA National Baseball team roster was announced for the 84th annual National Baseball Congress (NBC) World Series. The team includes Puma Sophomore infielder Josh Bristyan. The team has made the trek to Wichita, KS for competition, August 1-11.

Puma sophomore Alexis Malave was named 2018 NJCAA Division II Softball Third Team All-American. Malave is the second Puma Softball student-athlete to be named NJCAA All-American. Erika Tapia was named First Team All-American in 2013.
Malave, a 2016 graduate of Cactus High School, finished the 2018 season with a .404 AVG, 67 hits, 32 RBI's, 65 runs, and 11 stolen bases.
