CHANGING OF THE GUARD FOR PUMA SOCCER PROGRAMS

The Puma soccer programs will have new faces at the helm next season.  PV Women’s Soccer head coach Jon Ruzan will be making a move and taking over the men’s program, while newcomer Ivan Dizdar will lead the women’s program.  Both coaches are currently on staff and have already hit the ground running preparing for the 2017 seasons.

PUMAS WIN 6-3

The Paradise Valley Women's Tennis team beat NCAA Division III Wisconsin Lutheran College by a score of 6-3 on Tuesday, March 14.

The Pumas (3-3) came out strong in doubles winning two out of the three matches and won four out of six singles matches. All three doubles teams played well as the Pumas won 8-1,8-4, and lost a close one 8-6.

PUMA MEN AND WOMEN BOTH IN TOP 15 AT NJCAA INDOOR NATIONALS

The Paradise Valley Track and Field teams put together strong performances at the NJCAA National Indoor Track and Field Championships. Both teams were amongst the top 15, with the Women ending in a tie for 13th and the Men 14th.

PUMAS SPLIT WITH PIMA

The PVCC Softball team (10-10) traveled to Pima (17-12) on Saturday to play a double header. The Pumas split the series with the Aztecs, taking the first game 8-4 and losing the second game 13-5.

PUMA BASEBALL SWEEPS EASTERN ARIZONA

he PVCC Baseball team (19-10) traveled to Eastern Arizona (10-16) on Saturday to play a double header against the Gila Monsters. The Pumas came away with both games, winning the first game 4-1 in eight innings and the second game 4-1 in seven innings.
