ACCAC AND REGION I HONORS FOR FOUR PUMAS

The PVCC Women's Soccer team finished the regular season 15-4-1 and secured the third seed in the Region I playoffs.  Four student-athletes received post-season accolades from the ACCAC and Region I. 

Sophomore’s Katie Townsend and Karina Lopez-Martinez were selected as All-ACCAC/NJCAA Region I First Team.

CHACON NAMED TO ALL-ACCAC/NJCAA REGION I TEAM

The PVCC Men’s Soccer team finished the regular season 6-13-1, their best record since the 2015 season. The Pumas finished eighth in the Region I standings.

Freshman Richie Chacon was named All-ACCAC/NJCAA Region Second Team. Chacon had three goals and four assists in his first year with the Pumas.

WOMEN'S SOCCER TO FACE CHANDLER-GILBERT IN FIRST ROUND OF PLAYOFFS

The Paradise Valley Community College Women’s Soccer team (15-4-1) finished the regular season ranked 3rd in the ACCAC and is headed into the playoffs.

PUMA CROSS COUNTRY OFF TO A STRONG START

Paradise Valley Community College competed yesterday in the ACCAC Cross Country Championship at Glen Lakes Golf Course in Glendale.  The Pumas finished second in both the women’s and men’s races, scoring 57 points for the women and 48 for the men.  Central Arizona College won both races with scores of 39 on the women’s side and 22 for the men.

PUMA MEN’S SOCCER HALFWAY THROUGH THE SEASON

The Paradise Valley Men’s Soccer team (4-7-1) is over halfway through their 2018 season. The Pumas are currently eighth in the ACCAC, two spots away from a playoff birth.
