SMITH HEADED TO THE NJCAA NATIONAL TOURNAMENT

Sophomore Megan Smith has qualified for the 2017 NJCAA Women’s Golf National Tournament.  The tournament will be held at Chateau Elan Golf Club in Braselton, GA, May 15-18. 

Smith was one of five individual qualifiers from Region I. She is the first women’s golfer to represent PVCC at the NJCAA National Tournament since 2014.

PUMA BASEBALL QUALIFIES FOR PLAYOFFS

The PVCC Baseball team (32-24) has qualified for the 2017 NJCAA Region I Division II Baseball Tournament. The Pumas finished the 2017 regular season strong, winning six of their final nine games to put them in the 3rd seed.

PUMAS PLAYOFF BOUND

The PVCC Softball team (19-29) has qualified for the 2017 playoffs.  The NJCAA Region I Division II Softball Tournament will begin Friday at Phoenix College. The Pumas are the 4th seed in the round-robin double elimination tournament. This is only the second time in program history that Puma Softball has qualified for post-season play.

BASEBALL OPEN TRYOUT SATURDAY, MAY 20

Paradise Valley Community College and Gateway Community College Baseball Programs will be conducting an open tryout together on Saturday, May 20, 2017. There is a $10.00 charge to attend this tryout.

HISTORIC MOMENT - PUMAS QUALIFY FOR FIRST NATIONAL TOURNAMENT

The Paradise Valley Women's Tennis team qualified for the NJCAA National Tournament for the first time in school history. The Pumas finished 3rd place in the conference behind Mesa Community College and Eastern Arizona College. The top three teams in the conference qualify for the National Tournament.
