The Paradise Valley Women's Tennis team got back to their winning ways on Tuesday against Glendale Community College, beating the Gauchos 5-4.

PVCC LOSES TO MESA

The Paradise Valley Women's Tennis team lost to Mesa Community College on Tuesday.

The Pumas (3-6) were facing the highly ranked T-Birds from Mesa. Mesa proved to be too much for the Pumas on this occasion and won the match 9-0. Mesa dominated both doubles and singles matches.

ARIZONA SOFTBALL HALL OF FAMERS TO ATTEND PUMA SOFTBALL GAME

On Saturday, March 25, two very special guests will be present for the Puma Softball game against Yavapai. Dot Wilkinson and Billie Harris are slated to throw out the first pitch prior to the match up. Billie Harris may also perform the National Anthem.

Both women are members of the Arizona Softball Foundation Hall of Fame.

CHANGING OF THE GUARD FOR PUMA SOCCER PROGRAMS

The Puma soccer programs will have new faces at the helm next season.  PV Women’s Soccer head coach Jon Ruzan will be making a move and taking over the men’s program, while newcomer Ivan Dizdar will lead the women’s program.  Both coaches are currently on staff and have already hit the ground running preparing for the 2017 seasons.

PUMAS WIN 6-3

The Paradise Valley Women's Tennis team beat NCAA Division III Wisconsin Lutheran College by a score of 6-3 on Tuesday, March 14.

The Pumas (3-3) came out strong in doubles winning two out of the three matches and won four out of six singles matches. All three doubles teams played well as the Pumas won 8-1,8-4, and lost a close one 8-6.
