HIT HARD, RUN FAST, TURN LEFT

Puma Baseball (28-13) had a busy March, going 14-6 on the month.  During that time, the Pumas improved their Conference record to 14-12.  Currently sitting in fourth place in the ACCAC, PV looks to a busy April schedule and an exciting playoff push. 

The Pumas are back at it on April 6 and 7 against Phoenix.  Friday is at home, game time 3pm.  Saturday is at PC, game time at noon.

Headline reads: BASEBALL TEAM FROM JAPAN VISITS

During spring break, PVCC Baseball hosted a special opponent.  On March 13, the Pumas welcomed the Owls from Meiji University in Japan.  Meiji, in the States for approximately two weeks, made several stops to play area teams while in Arizona.  This was the third time Meiji has visited to play PV, having been here in 2013 and 2016.

PUMAS OFF TO 8-0 START

Puma Baseball is off to an 8-0 start this season.  Conference play opens up this Friday as PV travels to Phoenix College.  Game time is 3pm.  The Pumas will host the Bears on Saturday at noon.

PUMA BASEBALL COACH SOLIS TABBED AS USA BASEBALL ASSISTANT

Puma Athletics is proud to have one of their own, Baseball head coach Victor Solis, serving as an assistant coach for USA Baseball's 15U National Team this summer.  Solis will hit the road, along with GateWay Community College's head coach Rob Shabansky, this weekend.

PUMA BASEBALL RECOGNIZED FOR 2016-2017 ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE BY ABCA

The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) honored 217 college and high school programs nationwide with their 2016-2017 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award.   PVCC Baseball is proud to be among those awarded.  The Pumas are one of only 10 junior colleges recognized, and the only Arizona junior college on the list.
