Head Coach Feroz Rast announced the signings of Channel Ruiz, Alexandra Levendi, and Alizaya Ambirz for the upcoming season.

Channel Ruiz comes to PVCC from Glendale High School where she played number 1 singles and doubles. She helped lead her team to a 12-4 record and a top 20 ranking in division II. Channel comes with great experience and will contribute right away.

Alexandra Levendi comes to PVCC from Chaparral High School. Her team finished with a 10-4 record and were ranked 5th in division I. She played mostly doubles this season. Their team lost in the quarterfinals of division I to Horizon High School 5-4. Alexandra has a keen awareness of how to play doubles.

Ali Ambirz comes to PVCC from Sahuarita High School. She played number 1 doubles and her team got to the 3rd round of the state tournament. She is a great character athlete who works hard on the court and in the classroom.

Coach Rast on the signings, I am so excited to add Ali, Channel, and Alexandra to our team for next season. Going into the recruiting season I knew that we needed to solidify our lineup with players that know how to win. All three come from winning programs and will help bring that attitude and focus to PVCC as we build on the success of last season. Ali and Alexandra also address our need in getting better doubles play. They both were very strong doubles players in high school and I look for both of them to continue that success here at PVCC. Channel will bring a strong singles presence as we try to replace some players from the top of our lineup from last year. Last season was a great building block for us and I look for this season to be the next step in our growth as a program.

Welcome to PVCC Ali, Channel, and Alexandra
