Puma Baseball, the #3 seed in the NJCAA Region I DII playoffs, headed in to the best of three series facing #2 Glendale having gone 0-4 against the Gauchos in the regular season.  Facing GCC on their home field, and playing to advance to the finals, the Pumas put on their game faces and took care of business.  Dropping the first game to GCC on Thursday, it was do or die for the Pumas on Friday.  In a high scoring, mega hit affair, the Pumas took the victory on Friday and forced the "if" game on Saturday.  Despite a nail biter of a ninth inning, the Pumas secured the win on Saturday advancing to the Region I DII finals.
