The PVCC Women’s Soccer team lost a physical battle to Snow College in the NJCAA West District Championship on Saturday night. Looking to defend their 2018 title, the Pumas traveled up north to Ephraim, UT to take on the Region 18 Champions.

Getting on the board early, Snow converted on a corner kick after a defensive miscue by the Pumas four minutes into the game. The Badgers added a second goal midway through the first half taking a 2-0 lead into the locker room.  The Pumas regrouped and came out pressuring Snow in the second half just missing the goal on a couple of opportunities. In the 70th minute, Snow added the insurance goal and went on to claim the NJCAA West District Championship and a bid to the NJCAA National Tournament.

This Puma sophomore class finished their careers with an overall record of  33-11-4, back to back Region 1 Championships (2018, 2019), a 2018 West District Championship and a 2018 NJCAA National Tournament appearance.
