Puma Men’s Soccer improve to 4-2 in the ACCAC, and are riding a four-game winning streak. After a tightly contested first half on October 3, the men were up 1-0 at half against GateWay after a goal from Ricardo Martinez. In the second half the Pumas put on the pressure as four different student-athletes scored; David Case, Dante Reyes, Erskine Leonard and James Downey. Luis Villegas picked up his third win of the season in goal.   

October 5 was a similar situation as PV played at South Mountain. Tied at halftime, the Pumas once again had a productive second half. Four different student-athletes lead the Pumas to a 4-0 victory; David Case, James Downey, Dante Ryes and Erskine Leonard. Daniel Osorio and Luis Villegas split time in goal, each collecting two saves in the shutout.

The Puma men now stand at 7-7 on the year are 4-2 in Conference play. They will take on the Phoenix College Bears on October 10 in a critical match. On October 12, the Puma travel to Glendale to take on the Gauchos.
