The PVCC Baseball team is in the middle of a tight race for a Region I Division II Playoff spot. The Pumas (27-20-1) are currently in 5th place with only six games left in the regular season. The Pumas are only three games out of first place spot.

Women's Tennis beat Eastern Arizona 5-4 on Thursday to end the 2019 regular season. The Pumas finish off winning two out of their last three matches. They will look to carry this momentum into the region tournament starting April 16.
On Saturday, April 6, two very special guests were present for Puma Softball's game against South Mountain Community College. Dot Wilkinson and Billie Harris came out to support Puma Softball, and Billie Harris also performed the National Anthem. Wilkinson and Harris gave the Pumas good luck as they swept the Cougars 6-1 and 8-2.
PVCC Baseball (25-16-1) is tied for fourth place in the ACCAC Division II with three weeks left in the regular season. The Pumas are 11-15 in Conference play this season and are within two games of first place in the tight Division II playoff race. With only 12 games remaining, the Pumas have been ramping up for a strong finish to the 2019 season.
Sophomore Israel Oloyede won the Weight Throw competition at the NJCAA Indoor Track and Field National Championships in Pittsburg, KS with a throw of 20.89m. Oloyede’s throw not only won the National Title, but he also broke his own NJCAA and School Records while setting a new NJCAA Indoor National Championships meet record.
