With eight games remaining in the 2018 season, Puma Softball posted their 23rd win of the season on Saturday after defeating Central Arizona College, breaking the previous best of 22 wins in 2015. The Pumas (23-17) are currently holding on to second place among ACCAC Division II teams.
Here are some highlights from the past few weeks.
The Paradise Valley Women's Tennis team played their last home match of the year on Thursday against conference leading Eastern Arizona College. The result of the match was a 9-0 loss.
Women’s Tennis got a big win against region rival Glendale this week. The Pumas won 8-1.
The day started with doubles, the Pumas won both matches played. Baylee Decker and Kelly Slattery won 8-2 in dominating fashion. Cheyanna Anderson and Calli Chance won their match 8-4. The Pumas continued their dominance in singles play as they came out strong and won all but one match.
Puma Baseball (28-13) had a busy March, going 14-6 on the month. During that time, the Pumas improved their Conference record to 14-12. Currently sitting in fourth place in the ACCAC, PV looks to a busy April schedule and an exciting playoff push.
The Pumas are back at it on April 6 and 7 against Phoenix. Friday is at home, game time 3pm. Saturday is at PC, game time at noon.
The Women's Tennis lost to region rival Mesa 6-3 on Tuesday.
