GRAND SLAMS, WALK-OFFS AND HITS, OH MY

Puma Softball is on a hot streak.  The Pumas have recovered from their rough 0-6 start to the season, winning six in a row and improving to .500 (6-6).  The Pumas have managed to muster  grand slams, walk-offs and a total of 77 hits and 59 runs in the past six games.  Most recently, the Pumas lit up the diamond against Chandler-Gilbert CC with two grand slams in one game leading to a run-rule w

PUMAS ON FIRE AT TYSON INVITATIONAL

There were freezing temperatures in Fayetteville, Arkansas this past weekend, but for the PVCC distance runners who raced at the Tyson Invitational indoor track and field meet, Arkansas’ Randall Tyson Track Center was on fire.  The four student-athletes raced in six events, notched six personal best times, and registered six national qualifying marks.

MEN’S SOCCER OPEN TRYOUT FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 23

The PVCC Men’s Soccer program will be conducting an open tryout at 4:00pm, Friday, February 23.  Campus tours and registration will begin at 2:45pm.  The afternoon will end with a Q & A with the coaching staff at 6:00pm, open to students and families.  The tryout will be held at the Paradise Valley CC soccer practice field.

Campus Tour:  2:45pm

PUMAS FALL TO THE SPIRIT

The PVCC Women’s Tennis team faced off against NAIA’s Ottawa University Spirit on Saturday. The Spirit proved to be a difficult opponent as they beat the Pumas 9-0.

HEAD COACH WITTIG NAMED SOUTHWEST PGA SENIOR PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Congratulations to Puma Men's Golf head coach Randy Wittig for being named the Southwest PGA Senior Player of the Year.  Wittig will be honored at the Southwest PGA Special Awards Ceremony on February 23 at Paradise Valley Country Club.
