Nursing Information Session

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, Maricopa schools have extended Spring Break. Therefore all of the following information sessions are canceled until further notice:
Nursing Information Sessions (now held online, see below)
Nursing Assistant Information Sessions
CEP Information Sessions
Paramedic/RN Bridge Information Sessions
Once Maricopa students return to school, the information sessions will resume.

Thank you for your interest in the Paradise Valley Community College Nursing Program. You are about to embark on an exciting educational journey that will prepare you to become a caring, competent Registered Nurse.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation the Nursing Information Session has been moved to an online format. Currently MCCCD students with an MEID are able to take this ‘class.’ We are working to build a session for those not currently admitted as a student. If you would like to be admitted to PVCC, and receive an MEID, complete all of Step One here:

In this information session you will receive details about the pre-requisites, application process, waiting list, costs, and Concurrent Enrollment Program. Attending the session is mandatory to be able to meet one-on-one with a designated nursing advisor at a later date.
This information session is only for Maricopa Nursing. If you are interested in Advanced placement, CNA or the Paramedic to RN Bridge program, these Information Sessions have been canceled until further notice. Please contact Program Coordinator Carol Frazier in the nursing department, for more information.)

If you are interested in the LPN program, we recommend speaking with Gateway Community College who holds a stand-alone LPN program.
