Led by the EMT and Paramedic Education Program Director Kevin Taussig, Fire Science Program Director David Sanchez, an extremely experienced group of instructors, and a dedicated staff, our accredited programs provide a high-level of education and training in the areas of emergency medical services and fire science. With countless years of combined experience, our faculty and staff bring a wealth of knowledge to our programs and are a great asset to students pursuing Fire Science, EMT, Paramedic Education, and other related professional certifications.

FALL 2024 Firefighter Operations Academy (Fire I & II Academy)

We are currently accepting academy interest forms for the Fall  2024 semester academy, scheduled to begin August 17, 2024.  The deadline to submit an academy interest form is April 19, 2024.  Interviews are anticipated to be held early part of May 2024 but are still being finalized.

Paramedic Education News & Information

The Paramedic Education Program has one cohort scheduled to start in Fall of 2024.  Information is currently being determined for the next offering in 2025 and will be announced here at a later date.  For other information on our Paramedic Education Program, please see the Paramedic Program page.


EMT News & Information

Students who plan to take the EMT training course need to download the "EMT104 Student Packet & Checklist" off the EMT page in the upper right hand corner of the page under “Downloads” prior to enrollment.

Students cannot enroll in the following EMT training courses online: EMT104, EMT104AB, EMT104LL, EMT200. Students will need to enroll via the other current available registration options, which can be found off the PVCC Admissions page.
