How does a student register for an online or hybrid course?
You can register the same as for any course, over the phone, in person, by sending a fax, or by mail.  If you have already taken a class at any MCCCD community college, you can also register online through your Student Center account. The phone number to PVCC's Admissions & Records office is 602-787-7000.

What is an MEID?  What if I don’t have, know, or am having trouble with my MEID or Password?
An MEID is given to you when you enroll and register for your first class with any of the Maricopa Community Colleges. It is a 10-digit alpha-numeric number that usually starts with the first three letters of your first name. It is used to access many services throughout all the MCCCD colleges, and also becomes the first part of your official college email address. An initial password is also given to you, which you will be able to change. If you are having trouble with your MEID, contact Admissions & Records office is 602-787-7000.

What is the enrollment deadline for online or hybrid courses?
The day before the class starts, unless the class is already full.

Do students taking an online or hybrid course need to take the Online Briefing?
Yes, if it is your first time using the Canvas system. Some instructors may include questions from the Briefing as part of a quiz for points.

When and how do I access my class online?
Typically, instructors provide access to the online classes the day the class starts. Some instructors will open the class the weekend before the class starts. On the first day of class, log into Canvas using your MEID and Password. This will take you to your Dashboard where you can click on the icon for your course which will bring you to the Home page.

Should I wait for my instructor to contact me to get started?
No. Be sure to access your online class on the first day. If you have trouble accessing your online class in Canvas, call us at 602-787-6754.

Refund Policy for Credit Classes
You can request a refund here or contact Student Business Services at 602-787-7962.

What if my online class is cancelled?
When the college cancels a class, a 100% refund will be made. Contact our Cashier Services at 602-787-7962 for further information.

What are the system requirements students must have to take an online course?
Students must have access to a computer and an internet connection. Specific hardware and software requirements vary among online courses. Contact your online instructor for further details.

What if I need tutoring?
