| Public Safety Mission |
The mission of the Public Safety Department at Paradise
Valley Community College is to provide assistance and security for people
on campus, protection of District and personal property, traffic control,
visitor assistance, operation of a lost and found function, loss prevention/reporting,
identification of safety hazards, and training/orientation of employees
and students.

- Assist students in learning to resolve conflicts in a reasonable manner
- Assist students by teaching them that they must take responsibility for their actions
- Teach students to become involved in their communities by reporting crimes and any suspicious activity to Public Safety

Public Safety Update/Summary of Incidents/January 23-29, 2012
Delayed Report: 01/18/12 10:45am a student reported he left his back pack with an attendant before entering the bookstore. When he returned to retrieve his back pack it could not be located. The back pack was later found by Bookstore staff and turned into lost & found. The owner retrieved the bag and reported nothing was missing. Investigation closed.
01/23/12 2:45pm an employee reported that person(s) unknown poured soda on the wall and floor inside the men's restroom at the Black Mountain campus. Investigation continues.
01/25/12 an instructor reported her J building classroom key was missing. She could not recall the last time she had seen the key. No further information.
01/25/12 4:00pm an employee in the KSC building reported their office tool box was missing. The tools were last seen about two weeks ago and were valued at $100. Investigation continues.
