Kyle Porter is a student at PVCC pursuing a journalism certificate. She is currently a member of the Puma Press web team while she works on a journalism internship at Scottsdale Airpark News. She has also served as Puma Press editor-in-chief and environment editor.  Porter returned to school at PVCC following careers in accounting, massage therapy, food service and other small business endeavors. She has completed undergraduate studies in biology at Cal State University in San Diego. A Phoenix native, Porter has lived in San Diego and Seattle.  She has one daughter and a large extended family.
