Role of the Steering Team

Develop a common understanding of the major college “building block” systems and Indicators of a Learning Centered College
Review existing major college systems
Convene and lead/serve on work teams as needed to study (what’s working, what’s not working) college systems
Make recommendations on the above noted outcomes for each of the college systems
Based on recommendations, align college systems
Communicate progress of the Focus on 2014 Steering Team to constituent groups
Present recommendations to college communities – synthesize feedback
Make final recommendations to President’s Leadership Team
Final recommendations will be made to the college president for approval and modifications as needed.

Role of Work Teams

Provide subject matter, technical expertise, and historical input on each of the major college systems
Conduct analysis of current systems
Develop drafts of recommendations for review and input of the Steering Committee
Serve in an ad hoc basis

Communications Work Team

College Institutional Effectiveness and Strategic Planning web site best practices will be identified
Draft templates for comprehensive IE umbrella web sites will be developed
