| Planning Assumptions |
- Before PVCC can move to the next level our strategic planning, administrative organizational structure, institutional effectiveness, and budget planning processes need greater clarity of purpose and focus – system stability
- The College’s systems (policies, procedures, structures, allocation of resources, decision- making processes, etc.) are designed and evaluated in terms of their support of learning and student success. Learning is our core value. (Indicators of a Learning Centered College)
- Core structures/components of our major systems can be enhanced and improved (this project is not about affirmation of current systems)
- Participation from College Leadership is essential
- Our Vision, Mission, Values and Strategic Directions are aligned with District Directions
- Recommendations from the College Financial Planning Advisory Committee and from the Maricopa 21st Century Project need to be folded into current college operations. (PLT will determine both process and implementation plans.)
- This focusing process can be done in a timely manner
